Συμφωνώ και σας παραθέτω μία δική μου εμπειρία: Είχα την ευκαιρία να τα δείξω και τα δύο κατά τη διάρκεια μίας ημερίδας για εκπαιδευτικούς στα Καλάβρυτα. Φυσικά όλοι εντυπωσιάστηκαν με το Classmate γιατί όλοι αναγνώρισαν αυτό που ξέρουν. Η απάντηση μου είναι η εξής: Εάν δώσεις σε έναν ενήλικα ένα παιχνίδι (π.χ. Kinder έκπληξη) δε θα το δει και με πολύ ενδιαφέρον, είναι πολύ απλοϊκό για τη σύνθετη σκέψη του. Και βέβαια θα του πάρει και μισή ώρα να το συναρμολογήσει. Εάν, το δώσεις σε ένα παιδάκι του δημοτικού, θα του πάρει το πολύ 5 λεπτά. Αυτό είναι το μεγαλύτερο ατού του ΧΟ, ότι απευθύνεται σε κοινό που δεν έχει πιάσει Η/Υ στα χέρια του, αλλά μπορεί να μάθει να το λειτουργεί σε 5-10 λεπτά. Συνεπώς, το Classmate και το XO για μένα δεν είναι ανταγωνιστικά, απευθύνονται σε τελείως διαφορετικές ηλικίες, στην παρούσα φάση πάντα. Μπορεί στο μέλλον, η Microsoft να πριμοδοτήσει την Intel με ένα ΛΣ που δε θα τρομάζει τον "ψηφιακά αναλφάβητο".
