This factsheet of some 60 pages aims at providing a comprehensive overview of the e-Government activities in the EU. The factsheet has, among other, a chapter on Ø The Information Society and eGovernment in the European Union Ø The Information Strategy and eGovernment in the European Commission Ø The Legal framework Ø The Actors Ø An eGovernment Who’s Who Ø Information about eGovernment Services for Administrations Ø Information about eGovernment Services for Citizens and Businesses The factsheet, alongside with an individual one for each EU Member State <https://joinup.ec.europa.eu/community/nifo/og_page/egovernment-factsheets>, has been published by the European Commission’s National Interoperability Framework Observatory <http://ec.europa.eu/isa/actions/04-accompanying-measures/4-2-3action_en.htm>.
