Dear Signatory,

This is a reminder of your invitation to the workshop below. An updated
agenda is included.
If you have already registered, we look forward to welcoming you at the
British Library. If you have not registered and still wish to attend,
please do so at your earliest convenience as the workshop is almost full.

On behalf of LIBER, C4C, and United for Start-ups I would like to invite
you to join our workshop: “The Perfect Swell: Workshop on Text and Data
Mining for Data Driven Innovation” at the British Library on Friday the
27th of September.

The workshop is intended as a follow-up to our joint response and
subsequent withdrawal from the Licences for Europe workshop on text and
data mining. It is intended as a means of initiating a broader discussion
around text and data mining with the context of data driven innovation and
well as providing feedback to policymakers regarding the conditions need to
foster text and data mining in Europe for both research and innovation.
Spaces for the workshop are extremely limited and on an invite only basis.
Please RSVP to innovationeu [ at ] gmail [ dot ] com before the 6th of September.
For further information about the workshop (logistics, venue etc.) please
