We received over 500 submissions from around the world for speakers and sessions around the themes of public service delivery, anti-corruption and civic engagement, as well as for an open track, which were reviewed by an editorial committee. As with all OGP summits, the editorial committee is comprised of OGP Support Unit staff and representatives from the Government of Georgia and civil society, as the OGP Chair country hosting the Summit. In addition, the editorial committee consulted with representatives of the Steering Committee and experts in the field reviewed the proposals to curate each track, to comprise a combination of high-level panels, hands-on workshops, and other dynamic formats and to meet the peer exchange and learning needs of OGP’s diverse community. The Summit proposals were evaluated using the following criteria: relevance (to overall thematic track, across regions, and to OGP’s mandate), creativity (format and encouraging participation), impact, and representativeness (across sectors, regions, communities). At this OGP Summit, we are developing a special session titled “Spotlight on Reformers and Tools” - one for each track. Through this session we would like to showcase the innovative work undertaken by OGP members and partners to tackle corruption, improve access to and quality of public service delivery, deepen civic engagement, and high frontier issues confronting the open government movement. The editorial committee thought the ideas/cases highlights in your proposal with the topic *"Wikification and Modelling of Public Service Procedures Based on the European Standard, Core Public Service Vocabulary*" would be good to showcase in a Spotlights Session. Here are the details of the session: - This session will not be in the format of a workshop or panel, but rather will encourage presenters to use TED talk-style, other innovative presentation, or storytelling formats. The idea is to make these pithy and engaging. Let us know if you have any ideas - we will be circling back to you with specific recommendations. - Please feel free to suggest a catchy headline/title for your story. - You are encouraged to showcase 1-2 case studies/initiatives, as well as any learning for the OGP community that may be relevant from these. These case studies/initiatives could be from your work or from that of any of the speakers you included in your proposal. - Please note that for this spotlight presentation we request you to have only 1 person share the story. If there is a compelling reason for more than 1 person to be there for your slot, please let us know. We will be sharing the line-up for the Spotlight Sessions by early the week of June 11. Please reply to this email let us know if you would NOT like to participate in this session and we will remove your name from the list.
