Hello everyone, My name is Brijesh Thummar. I’m a Computer Science student and an active open-source contributor, and I’ve recently joined this mailing list as a prospective GSoC 2026 contributor. I’m completely new to this organization, but I have prior experience contributing to multiple open-source projects and working on real-world codebases. I’m excited to expand my learning here and collaborate with the community. I’m particularly interested in the project *“Using SWHID to Identify Software Components.”* I’ve started reviewing the available documentation and would really appreciate guidance on: - Recommended beginner issues - How to get started with the codebase - Any contribution workflow or mentor expectations Please let me know the best way to begin contributing.
