Hey Sheshank, Thank you very much for your interest in contributing to OpenCouncil! While OpenCouncil is being developed with international use in mind, and all of our documentation and GitHub communication is in English, for this specific GSoC cycle there is a hard requirement for Greek language proficiency. Both proposed projects -- particularly the fine-tuning of AI transcription models and the municipal budget visualization work -- involve working closely with Greek municipal data, terminology, and real-world context. Since the current development phase is focused exclusively on Greek municipalities, understanding the language is essential to ensure meaningful progress and accurate implementation. That said, we truly appreciate your interest, and we would be happy to stay in touch for future phases of the project where language requirements may be different.
