Hello all,
We are now a little under three weeks away from the Hackathon!
First things first - there are a lot of volunteering opportunities

available at the upcoming Hackathon in Athens - event blogging,
photography, AV operation, session coordination, etc. If you expressed
interest in volunteering previously, you will soon receive an email from a
volunteer group coordinator with information about how to get involved.
There is an additional space available now in the schedule. If your session
didn’t get accepted or there is an interesting idea for a session proposal
you have been thinking about recently, you are welcome to use the Small
Hacking Room Corner

to claim a spot. This workshop room will not have any audio-visual (AV)
support.
During the opening ceremony of the Hackathon, interested speakers will have
about a minute to pitch a project idea to seek collaborators and share what
they will be working on. This session will be live-streamed, and the
recording will be published on Commons and YouTube for later viewing. You
can start thinking about who in your project will present on the team’s
behalf.
A few satellite events are taking place (e.g., Wiki Workshop 2023:
developer track, online on May 11). If you want to join the pre-Hackathon
events efforts or promote them in your local community, check out the list

Is there a social side activity you would like to propose or organize, such
as an LGBTQ+ lunch or dinner, language-specific meetup, board games night,
