Αγαπητή κυρία Πρίμπα,
Τονίζοντας πως και εγώ εκφράζω προσωπικές απόψεις, θα ήθελα να εκφράσω την
έκπληξή μου για την αναφορά σε έναν εμπορικό θεσμό όπως το ECDL σε μια
λίστα συζήτησης για το ελεύθερο/ανοιχτό λογισμικό.
Το ECDL είναι ένα ιδιωτικό πιστοποιητικό το οποίο τολμώ να πω δεν έχει
ιδιαίτερα μεγάλη σχέση με τη φιλοσοφία του ελεύθερου-ανοιχτού λογισμικού
--όπως άλλωστε και όλα τα αντίστοιχα πιστοποιητικά...
Δεν θα μπω στη διαδικασία να κρίνω τις διαδικασίες του ECDL, εξάλλου δεν
ειδικεύομαι σε πιστοποιητικά κατάρτισης. Παρακαλώ όμως ας κρατήσουμε τη
συζήτηση σε θέματα που αφορούν το ελεύθερο-ανοιχτό λογισμικό και σε
τρόπους με τους οποίους μπορούμε να βοηθήσουμε στη διάδοσή του.
Πάντα σε συμφωνία με τις βασικές αρχές του ελεύθερου-ανοιχτού λογισμικού,
οι οποίες λίγο έχουν να κάνουμε με πιστοποιητικά ικανοτήτων χειρισμού Η/Υ.
