Hello,
I'm not contributing to the discussion, I just noticed that your
keyboard mapping appears to be broken:
Do a search for "µµ" (see below) on Google:
http://www.google.com/search?q=%CE%BC%CE%BC&sourceid=firefox&start=0&start=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:el-GR:official
am/AM is πµ/ΠΜ (προ µεσηµßρίας)
pm/PM is µµ/ΜΜ (µετά µεσηµßρίας)
The characters in your mail are
"µ" (U+00B5 MICRO SIGN) rather than
"μ" (U+03BC GREEK SMALL LETTER MU)
(which is UTF-8 CEBC as quoted in your google URL)
and - much worse because of the significantly different glyphs -
"ß" (U+00DF LATIN SMALL LETTER SHARP S) rather than
"β" (U+03B2 GREEK SMALL LETTER BETA).
Kind regards,
Thomas
