Το ενδιαφέρον είναι ότι συμβάλουν στην δημιουργία νέων επιχειρηματικών μοντέλων στο διαδίκτυο ( ελευθέρα διαθέσιμο περιεχόμενο & υπηρεσιές, web.x εφαρμογές, ευρυζωνικά, κλπ) και ωφελούνται κεφαλαιοποιώντας τα στο χρηματιστήριο... Προφανώς αναδύονται πολλά νέα θέματα που απαιτούν από όλους μας να τα διερευνήσουμε πιο διεξοδικά, με κεντρικό ερώτημα ποιες θα είναι οι δημόσιες υποδομές στην ψηφιακή εποχή ή στον ψηφιακό καπιταλισμό; θα είναι η πρόσβαση στο διαδίκτυο; θα είναι το ελεύθερο λογισμικό; θα είναι το ελεύθερα διαθέσιμο ψηφιακό περιεχόμενο; θα είναι τα ερευνητικά αποτελέσματα των πανεπιστημιακών εργαστηρίων;...
