For this purpose, data providers should answer the following questions. - In what format is the data available or may be made available? - What is the quality of the data? To ensure technical openness, this webinar will guide you through this principle and the data management process in order to move from closed formats to open formats of your data. An open format is where specifications of the software are available to anyone, free of charge, so they can use these specifications in their own software without any limitations on reuse imposed by intellectual property rights. This webinar is focused on data providers who may be interested in improving the quality of the data, opening-up their data and make it available in the best format for reuse. We will distinguish between the different formats and degrees of openness, by inviting data providers publishers in data.europa.eu who moved towards technical openness.
