It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in the OFE
Lounge series, a gathering of professionals and leaders in the open source
and standards community, and engaged policymakers. Organised between OFE
and StandICT.eu <https://standict.eu/>, it is a webinar series meant to
bring the different ecosystems together, learning from each other on how
they approach the evolving dynamics of software regulation and its impact
on standardisation and open source efforts.
The OFE Lounge 2024 starts next week on Thursday 22 February at 18:00 CET
and will continue weekly for five weeks. Each session will last 60 minutes,
featuring introductory presentations and there will be a 30-minute
moderated discussion under Chatham House Rule.
Our speakers are policymakers who are drafting the regulators’ requests for
the standardisation efforts related to the CRA and AI act, as well as the
standards professionals engaged in the respective working groups.
The series will culminate in a comprehensive wrap-up workshop, extending
over 2.5 hours to outline actionable strategies moving forward.
