Dear Alexios Zavras and the gsoc-developers community,

My name is Jean (Jinhyung Bae), a student at Hankuk University of Foreign
Studies majoring in Industrial Engineering and AI Data Convergence. I am
writing to express my strong interest in the "Using SWHID to Identify
Software Components" project for GSoC 2026.

I have attached my CV to this email for your reference. As you will see in
the document, I have an advanced background in Python and experience in
handling complex data structures. In my personal project, *OptiMystic
Solver*, I successfully refactored a modeling engine from PuLP to Pyomo,
demonstrating my ability to work with high-level abstractions. I am also
currently working on a team project using Transfer Learning to translate
historical documents, which involves extensive data mapping.

I am specifically interested in the Small Project (90 hours) scope. Due to
my mandatory military service starting on August 11th, 2026, I am planning
for an "Early Completion" and aim to finish the project by July 31st. I
believe this scope allows me to deliver high-quality results within my
available timeframe.

I have two technical questions to help refine my proposal:

   1.

For a 90-hour project, would prioritizing a specific ecosystem like PyPI
for a complete mapping pipeline be a suitable goal?
   2.

Does the team have a preferred CLI framework or library for the SWHID
   utility?

I have been reviewing the SWHID specifications and the triplestore
repository, and I am eager to contribute.

Best regards, Jean (Jinhyung Bae) [GitHub: github.com/nepersoned
