Dear Mentors, I am Athanasios Kotidis, a 2nd-year ECE student at the University of Thessaly, interested in the "Command & Data Handling Software for Open-Source CubeSat FlatSat Testbed" project. To prepare, I built a very basic PoC CANBUS+NRF24, two-node + ground control simulator as stated in my draft, very barebones, proposal ( https://docs.google.com/document/d/1epZmToaGmRyDcypOVz8n6UpyQlQlw9bQ435GbiLEoa8/edit?usp=sharing) using STM32, FreeRTOS, and raw CAN. As an undergraduate student, I do not have prior experience with NASA cFS, CSP over CAN, Zenoh or Cubesat in general but I am eager to learn. Since the main repository is currently mostly documentation I am confused about the 12-week timeline and the final deliverable of this project. I want to make sure I scope my proposal's timeline accurately. Could you please clarify a few points? 1. *cFS & CSP Scope:* Am I expected to port the official libraries (like libcsp and NASA cFS) to the STM32, or write custom, lightweight implementations inspired by them? 2. *Zenoh & AI Payload:* What is the specific coding deliverable for the high-bandwidth routing ? Will the organization provide an AI model for me to integrate? 3. *End-of-Summer MVP:* What specific result or final test defines a successful 12-week deliverable? 4. *GFOSS Impact:* For my proposal's impact section, what is the core long-term vision for this testbed? (e.g. local university adoption). Please let me know if I should continue using this public mailing list for future questions regarding my proposal, or if I should contact the project mentors directly. Because this is my first time applying for GSoC, any suggestions or feedback on my proposal draft are very welcome. Thank you for your time and guidance. Best regards, Athanasios Kotidis
