Re: NextcloudPi: Questions about proposal

The app in your local instance you are talking about is the one you are supposed to improve...

The final deliverables will be specified in may, in the boding period. So if you are the chosen student we will spend some time to review your proposed implementations... For your proposal try to show your suggestions and your proposed implementations because you will be rated for that... Keep in mind that it is possible that we don't choose no-one for the project, if none of the proposals is very good.

I would suggest that you look for the way Nextcloud proposes high availability options and try to adjust it to our project... For this you would probably consider using multiple servers. That said it would be ok for me if you don't feel good with it, to replace it. Consider well before doing so because other mentors might find this an issue.

You can 'upgrade' a task for your proposal to be a priority and not a secondary task. Make sure you propose something easy and efficient. The user should do the least possible actions.

Excuse my short - direct writing, I am typing from my mobile phone.

Please continue to ask me questions if you have more.

Best regards
