Hi again, Let me introduce myself, I am Tassos I am an M.Eng ECE graduate from the Technical University of Crete, and currently pursuing my MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics. I have a solid background in software development and my interests are based on AI (specifically ML and DCNNs), Robotics, and IT. I'm sending this mail because I am interested in the projects 'DeepBots RL and Evolutionary base-lines' and secondly for 'DIY robot for educators'. Through my undergraduate program, I took a class called 'Autonomous Agents' where as part of the subject I've learned about Reinforcement Learning algorithms like TD&Q Learning, Policy Iteration, and not only that, I also gained some experience through workshops using Webots simulator for navigating the robot e-Puck through a maze grid using its sonar sensors and became familiar with Gazeebo. Furthermore, during those years I was involved with my school's robotics team 'Kouretes' for more than 3 years building a variety of apps like chat-bots using NAO robots, object recognition tasks with OpenCV, Line following with LegoMindstorms, etc. Also during my studies at TUC, I was working as a Network Engineer at NOC where I developed a strong ability of issue handling/resolving, fundamentals of networks, and the IT field in general. As for my graduation diploma-thesis, it was about Speaker and Face recognition with CNNs using OpenCV, Dlib, Tensorflow, and Python. I want to get evolved with DeeBots projects mostly because I've only used Reinforcement Learning and Evolutionary algorithms in theory and is a first-class opportunity for me to start implementing them. As for the 'DIY robot' I've worked previously with Ev3 Lego Mindstorms, National Instruments myRIO, HitechnicMotors DC and Servos and interacting with EV3dev community, I think is a nice goal to create a more affordable set of educational kit as EV3-Mindstorms, are quite expensive. --Programming: Python, C/C++, Matlab, Bash scripting -- Other Software Technologies: Docker, Tensorflow, OpenCV -- Using only Linux distrOS (Debian and Arch) -- some of opensource SW: Mailspring, Atom Editor -- also familiar with FSF community Sorry for the long introduction!;) P.S.
